Root Canal Surgery Whilst 34 Weeks Pregnant

¿Cristianos perseguidos? Bah, no big deal.

We've reached the last straw. I heard one of those socialist media comment the visit of the bishops of Iraq and the act of supporting religious freedom, held this week in the CEU. The guy goes and says well, no big deal, that Christians have always been persecuted and, moreover, throughout history have killed more Christians than Muslims. So. Just like that.

if it be not shocked to hear such nonsense, at a time and a (sub) culture in which common sense, fairness, rationality and reasonableness, are factors that have been exterminated by the collective deseducación programs and objectivism and relativism prevailing in most media, which have become the man who thinks animal animal thinker.

So, as has always been persecuted Christians (and and is a milestone that one recognizes it), because nothing, not so important the issue. This attitude reflects visceral paradigmatically phobia felt by some for Christianity-especially Catholic, fueled by ideological prejudices and assumptions and therefore irrational. This mentality is in Christianity and Christians always suspicious entities, sources of all evil and deserving of all punishments, just and unjust. So do not complain, if they pursue, is that something be done (an argument, incidentally, was transmitted in an almost literal with regard to the Jews in Germany post 1933).

course, many who feel well, do not say think, by the irrational component just mentioned, they are able to raise Cain with other flagrant injustice, oppression of other minorities, child abuse based on sex or race, or for reasons such as the rights of animals or global warming ... Well I've found in dealing with many people, quite rightly concerned about these issues and concerns which I share. But yes, the issue of persecution of Christians, no big deal.

As to whether in history has killed more Muslims than Christians, the truth is that the data should care very little. Human dignity is unique and personal to each and every one of the guys and gives simply being born a woman. An attack against a human being is just as criminal and heinous and should be punished equally in all cases affecting who affects, whether race, sex, parasexo or belief system whatsoever. If it were true that the number of violent deaths of Muslims is higher than that of Christians, it means that we should even things for peace and harmony? I see the question as absurd as those revisionists who contend that Nazism was not as bad as we were led to believe because, instead of 6 million Jews exterminated only 3. Gentlemen, even if it was a just and would have escaped!

However, any historian might object to some things that might give some clues to this "opinadorzuelo" somewhat uninformed:

1, Christianity, since it appeared 2,000 years ago, has suffered violent persecution and continuous along its entire existence, in various parts of world at once. Islam, which appears in the seventh century, has not suffered persecution in this way and who has had have been very localized and very comparable to the current deal (almost all have been persecutions between different factions of Islam, no other religions).

2 The Islam as a religious entity, has participated in many wars shock from the very beginning, you have undoubtedly caused many dead (impossible to know how many), both among their ranks and between the counter (not always Christian). The first expansionist wars were the seed and causes (remote or close, as appropriate), other later conflicts, such as the reconquista in Spain or the Crusades, for a total dead, historians can not be quantified due to lack of data. All the dead are equal, but I think it is disingenuous "count" as vícitimas of religious persecution to those who died in these conflicts, whose causes and context were very different from the type of persecution, in times of peace (albeit relative) and cold-blooded, which are reported today.

3 º I doubt that Islam has had many killed by religious persecution exogenous (another thing is the persecution of Muslims against Muslims) as only the Catholic Church has been in Africa since the eighteenth century in the Far East since the sixteenth century, as intensified in the nineteenth and twentieth-Japan, Vietnam, Korea, in the twentieth century, with the two burnt-the Communist and National Socialist, or with the situation in China, so unknown, ignored or even hidden. And, of course, religious persecution in Spain during the period 1931-1939, the number of people killed just for their faith, because Christian-in a single country and within a decade, is already higher than all Roman persecutions, as studies show historiography. This will only referred to one of the many Christian denominations, Catholicism, the oldest and majority of the Christian world, but the Anglican Communion and the protestant comunicades also suffered a constant drain in various parts of the world.

In conclusion: There is a question of number, "I have more dead than you are, but simple human dignity. But we should also strive to be documented and not be so ignorant, especially when you have charges in a political patido and aspirations to participate in public life. More than anything to not looking ridiculous.
